Live sensor data on one dashboard

Open any animal profile and watch readings stream in over WebSocket, no switching between vendor dashboards.

  • Real-time temperature charts, location maps and activity graphs
  • Device status: battery levels, last sync times and connection
  • Multiple sensor types per animal, combined on one profile

How sensor integration works

Three steps: connect, sync, view. No proprietary middle layer.

  1. 01

    Connect devices

Register your sensors in Agrianta and assign them to individual animals. Set-up is done from the dashboard.

  2. 02

    Automatic data sync

Sensor readings flow into Agrianta automatically. No manual data entry, no scheduled imports.

  3. 03

    View and alert

All sensor data on the animal profile. Set thresholds and get alerts when readings fall outside normal ranges.

What you get with sensors

  • Device assignment with full history of which sensor was on which animal.
  • Real-time data via WebSocket: temperature charts, location maps, activity graphs, all live.
  • Historical data: review past readings, location history and activity patterns over time.
  • Threshold alerts based on species and breed.
  • Device status dashboard: battery levels, last sync times, connection status.
  • Multiple sensor types per animal, combined on one profile.
  • Battery monitoring with low-battery alerts.
  • Offline detection: notification when a sensor goes offline for too long.

One dashboard, not five

One dashboard for your records and your sensor data. No more switching between closed dashboards from different hardware vendors. Whatever you already own, we make it useful with everything else you record.

Common questions

The questions we hear most, answered straight.

What kind of sensors can I connect to Agrianta?

You can connect ear tags and tag readers, GPS collars, LoRaWAN gateways and a range of farm sensors, all feeding one dashboard. Tags handle identification and weight readings, collars give real-time location and grazing patterns, and gateways link low-power sensors over long range. Farm sensors cover buildings, water troughs, weather stations, weight scales and third-party kit. Agrianta is hardware-agnostic, so the aim is to make whatever you connect useful alongside everything else you record, rather than tie you to one type.

Do I have to buy Agrianta's own hardware?

No, Agrianta does not sell hardware and works with the sensors you already own or choose to buy. It is hardware-agnostic by design, so collars, boluses, gateways and farm sensors from different suppliers all report into the same place instead of sitting in separate vendor dashboards. You register each device, assign it to an animal, and its readings flow in automatically. That means you can start with the kit on the farm today and add more over time without being locked to a single brand.

How does sensor data get into Agrianta?

Readings sync automatically once a device is registered and assigned to an animal, with no manual entry or scheduled imports. Set-up is done from the dashboard: connect the sensor, assign it, then view the data on that animal's profile. Live readings stream in over WebSocket, so temperature charts, location maps and activity graphs update in real time rather than on a delay. Historical data is kept too, letting you review past readings, location history and activity patterns over time.

How is sensor monitoring priced?

Sensors are charged at a flat rate per device, whatever the type, so a collar, a gateway and an environmental sensor all cost the same to connect. There is no surcharge for one category over another, which keeps the sums simple as you add kit across the farm. The pricing page sets out the current per-device rate in full. A one-month free trial with full Pro access lets you connect devices and see the live dashboard before committing, and you can cancel anytime during the trial.

Can I get alerts when a sensor reading looks wrong?

Yes, you can set thresholds and be alerted when readings fall outside the normal range for that animal. Thresholds can be tuned by species and breed rather than applied as one blanket rule, so a reading that is fine for one type flags for another. The device side is covered too: battery monitoring sends low-battery alerts, and offline detection notifies you when a sensor has gone quiet for too long. A status dashboard shows battery levels, last sync times and connection at a glance.

Try it on your own herd.

Thirty days, every module on. You won't be charged until your trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.
