Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give website owners information about how visitors use their site.
This Cookie Policy explains how Astraeus Technology Limited ("we", "us", "our", or "Agrianta") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (agrianta.com) and web application.
Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. They enable core functionality such as security, authentication, and session management. You cannot opt out of these cookies as the website would not work without them.
Authentication on Agrianta is first-party: when you sign in, our own API (api.agrianta.com) sets a session cookie on the agrianta.com domain so that your session works across Agrianta subdomains. These cookies are marked Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax, and are not set by or shared with any third-party identity provider.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Maintains your login session. Set by our API on the agrianta.com domain so your session works across Agrianta subdomains | Up to 7 days |
| better-auth.two_factor | Set temporarily during sign-in if you have two-factor authentication enabled, while we verify your authenticator code | About 10 minutes |
| cookie-consent | Stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) | Until cleared |
| ag_consent | Mirrors your cookie choice so our servers can respect it | 1 year |
| ag_cmp_zone | Remembers which consent rules apply in your region so the right consent banner is shown | 24 hours |
In production, authentication cookies carry the browser's "__Secure-" prefix (for example, __Secure-better-auth.session_token). Our authentication layer may also set additional short-lived "better-auth" cookies while a sign-in is in progress (for example, when completing a social sign-in). These are removed once sign-in finishes and are strictly necessary for authentication to work.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously. This helps us improve our website and services. These cookies are only set with your consent.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ph_* | PostHog analytics - tracks page views and user interactions to help us improve the platform | 1 year |
Functional Cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, such as remembering your preferences and settings. If you do not allow these cookies, some features may not function properly.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| theme | Remembers your display preferences (light/dark mode) | 1 year |
| locale | Stores your language preference | 1 year |
Marketing Cookies
These cookies help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising, for example whether a visit came from one of our ads. They are only set after you accept cookies, and we never load them without your consent.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta Pixel - distinguishes browsers so we can measure how our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising performs | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel - records that your visit came from a Meta ad so we can attribute sign-ups to our advertising | 90 days |
Third-Party Cookies
We use services from third parties that may set cookies on your device. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of cookies.
PostHog (Analytics)
We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with our platform. PostHog is hosted in the EU and processes data in accordance with GDPR. Analytics cookies are only enabled after you provide consent.
Learn more: PostHog Privacy Policy
Meta (Advertising)
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure how our advertising on Facebook and Instagram performs — for example, whether an ad led to a sign-up. This involves sharing limited data with Meta Platforms, such as a hashed version of your email address and Meta's cookie identifiers. These cookies are never set, and no data is shared with Meta, unless you accept cookies.

Local Storage and Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we use local storage and similar browser technologies to store information on your device. These serve similar purposes to cookies but can store larger amounts of data.
We use local storage for:
- Offline functionality: Storing data locally so you can continue working when you have limited or no internet connectivity
- Performance: Caching data to reduce load times and improve responsiveness
- User preferences: Remembering your settings and display preferences
- Consent choice:Your cookie-banner decision is kept in local storage (the "cookie-consent" entry above)
Mobile Apps
Our iOS and Android mobile apps do not use cookies. They use device-level storage (encrypted by the operating system) for offline caching and preferences, and they use SDK-level identifiers to send product analytics and crash reports through PostHog and Sentry. What data those SDKs collect, and how you can control it, is described in our Privacy Policy.
How to Manage Cookies

Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want to be tracked. We honour DNT signals and will not enable analytics tracking when we detect this signal, regardless of your cookie consent preferences.
