Common questions
The questions we hear most, answered straight.
What can I actually ask Scout AI?
Scout answers questions about your own herd in plain English, drawing on your farm records rather than generic advice. You can ask it to list animals with elevated temperature, check the withdrawal status on yesterday's treatment, find cows due to calve this week, summarise today's task list, or give a health overview of the whole herd. Its queries cover herd lookups, treatment history, task summaries, reproduction, inventory stock levels and connected sensor data, so it works as a faster way in than clicking through dashboards.
How many questions a day do I get?
Scout AI Core includes 50 conversational queries per day, and it comes with every Core plan at no extra cost. That covers the day-to-day asking most farms do without thinking about a limit. If you regularly run beyond that, Scout AI Pro raises the daily message allowance and adds the rules engine for automated, background monitoring on top. New farmers get full Pro access during the one-month free trial, so you can see how much you actually use before deciding.
Does Scout AI give generic advice or answers about my own animals?
Every answer is scoped to your own farm data, not the open internet. Scout reads your animals, treatments, sensors and tasks, so when you ask which cows are due to calve or what the withdrawal status is on a treatment, it pulls the real records and names the specific animals. Think of it as a colleague who has memorised every animal in the herd. It also keeps a persistent conversation history per farm, so you can pick up where you left off and it remembers the context.
What does Scout AI Pro add over the included version?
Pro keeps everything in Core and adds more daily messages plus a rules engine for automated alerts. Where Core answers when you ask, Pro works in the background: it monitors your data, detects patterns and sends proactive notifications when an issue arises, rather than waiting for you to come and query it. Pro is one of Agrianta's advanced tiers, so check this feature in the product to confirm what applies to your plan. The free trial includes full Pro access if you want to try the proactive side first.
Do I need sensors or hardware for Scout AI to be useful?
No. Scout answers from whatever records you keep in Agrianta, so herd details, treatments, tasks, reproduction and inventory all work without a single sensor connected. If you do run boluses, collars or environmental sensors, Scout folds that data in too, listing animals with readings above your normal thresholds or summarising activity patterns. Agrianta is hardware-agnostic and sells no hardware itself, so it works with whatever kit you already own or choose to buy.
Try it on your own herd.
Thirty days, every module on. You won't be charged until your trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.
