The everyday work of the farm, wherever the animal is standing. Everyone on the farm signs in to the same herd, so a record made at the pen is on the office screen straight away.

Every animal's ID, growth, medicine history, breeding, movements, GPS location and attached devices. Search the herd or scan a tag to jump straight to one.

Run a weighing session or a treatment run, record a movement, add a calf. Scan the ear tag with a Bluetooth reader or the camera and the right animal comes up.

And it keeps working when the signal doesn't
Most of a stock day happens out of range, so the recording is built for it. Weigh, treat, move and tag with no bars at all: each capture saves to the phone and syncs itself when you're back in signal. A few things need the server (Scout AI, live map tiles, medicine lookups) and the app says so rather than spinning.

Pairs with the kit in the yard
Readers and weigh heads connect straight to the phone over Bluetooth, so pairing works in the middle of nowhere. If the app sees a reader it can't support, it says which one and why instead of scanning endlessly.

Is the app a cut-down version of the website?
No. It signs in to the same account and reads and writes the same herd data your dashboard does, so a treatment recorded at the crush is in the office medicine book straight away. It's shaped for the phone rather than the desk: the home screen leads with the day's triage and one-tap capture, and jobs like weighing, treating, breeding and scanning are built to keep pace with a full race of cattle. Planning-heavy work like boundary drawing and long reports still lives on the larger screen, where it belongs.
Does the mobile app cost extra?
No. It's a free download on the App Store and Google Play and comes with every Agrianta plan, Core and Pro alike, at no extra charge and with no per-seat pricing. Everyone on the farm signs in with the same account they use on the web, sees the same herd, and their field records land in the same medicine book, inventory and task lists the office works from.
What can I do with no signal, and what needs a connection?
The everyday recording works offline: weighing sessions, treatment runs, tasks, breeding records, new animals and movements, booking medicine into the cabinet, and matching a scanned tag against the herd list on the phone. Each capture saves to the phone and syncs when you're back in range, surviving a force-quit or a flat battery. A few things genuinely need the server and the app says so instead of spinning: Scout AI answers, live map tiles and collar positions, boundary edits (the server checks overlaps as you save), barcode and VMD medicine lookups, and the first sign-in on a new phone. Records you've opened while connected stay readable from the phone's copy for about a week.
Which phones and readers does it work with?
iPhone and iPad on iOS 16.4 or later, and Android phones on Android 8 or newer. For hardware, it pairs over Bluetooth with Agrident and Allflex AWR and APR stick readers, the Shearwell SDL440S, generic Bluetooth serial readers, and Tru-Test S3 and XR, JR and ID 5000-series weigh heads on firmware 4.7.8 or later. If you try to pair something it can't support, it tells you which model and why. With no reader at all, the camera reads ear tags and cattle passports, processed on the phone.
